This is my favorite go-to recipe for days when it feels like all my going has gone.
You need:
1-ish Pound of Ground Beef. Ground beef! I love that this stroganoff doesn't call for a cut of expensive steak.
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1-2 tbsp Oil. I use olive oil.
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2-3/4 cup of either sour cream or plain yogurt (I've used both and they each work quite well)
1-3 tbs dried parsley
12 ounces of Cooked Egg Noodles
Make It:
Cook the onion in the oil until it's nice and tender. Then add the beef and cook until done. Add the soup, paprika, and parsley. Heat to a boil. Stir in sour cream/plain yogurt. Once it is warmed through mix with the cooked egg noodles. Ta da!
Oh, and in case you ever thought adding some garlic to this would be simply divine.....it isn't. Trust me.
